LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) — Bon Jovi rocker David Bryan is planning to write a musical about the New Jersey rock band.
The keyboard maestro has already penned songs for two musicals, ‘Memphis’ and ‘Sweet Valley High’, but revealed Broadway would have to wait for a Bon Jovi inspired production because there were already too many band-based shows.
He told BANG Showbiz: «Maybe down the road, you never know, but at the moment the scene has kind of got clouded up with those kind of musicals.
«The Abba one is huge but for every Abba there are 15 that didn’t become huge. So I mean it’s just not right yet.»
